Community Guidelines

Version 2026-10-21 · Effective 21 October 2026

MyVibe works because real people give each other honest, respectful first impressions. These rules apply to everything you upload, write and rate. Breaking them leads to action against your content and your account. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Your photos

  • Only you. Upload natural photos of yourself, with your face clearly visible.
  • 18+ only. No photos of anyone under 18, including you as a child.
  • Clothed and non-sexual. No nudity, underwear or swimwear poses meant to be sexual, or sexual gestures.
  • Real. No AI-generated faces, heavy filters that change who you are, or photos of celebrities or other people.
  • Nothing shocking. No violence, weapons aimed at people, drugs, gore or hate symbols.
  • No contact details. No phone numbers, usernames, QR codes, links or advertising in photos.

Your words

  • Display names and profile messages must be friendly and free of insults, hate, sexual content and contact details.
  • Do not ask people to contact you elsewhere. MyVibe is not for dating or selling.

Rating others

  • Rate honestly and look at the photos before you rate.
  • Do not rate in bulk with defaults, use several accounts, bots, or arrange ratings with others.
  • Ratings are anonymous: do not try to find out who rated you or who someone is.

Report and block

If something breaks these rules, report it from the card or profile. If a person appears to be under 18, choose "Appears to be under 18": these reports are handled first. You can also block any user, so that neither of you sees the other again.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before, we may:

  • reject a photo or message, or rename a display name;
  • hide a profile, or restrict rating, uploading or messaging;
  • suspend an account for a period, or ban it permanently;
  • report illegal content, especially anything involving minors, to the authorities.

Suspicious rating behaviour can lower the weight of someone's ratings. You will find the decision and its reason in your Inbox, and you can appeal it in the app. A photo rejection must be appealed within 30 days.
